Prairie Picnic is special to me for so many reasons. This is the very first quilt pattern I have ever written.
During our pattern writing class, I chose a simple star design for my quilt. The sample I made in class is timeless, using older, almost reproduction, prints.
In the spring of 2025, Lumin Fabrics launched a new fabric line, White Owl Textiles.
I feel very fortunate to have already been a part of the Lumin family, because I transitioned very easily to White Owl Textiles. Prairie Picnic features the Patchwork Prairie collection.
